Canine parvovirus (CPV) Detection Kit

Canine Parvo Virus(CPV) Probe qPCR Kit is a PCR kit intended for research use in nucleic acid analysis under controlled laboratory conditions using probe-based real-time PCR. Purified DNA is directly amplified using sequence-specific primers and probes. During amplification, fluorescence signals are generated through probe cleavage, allowing real-time monitoring of amplification. The resulting signals may be used for comparative analysis of target nucleic acids.

Introduction

Canine Parvovirus (CPV) is one of the most common and clinically significant pathogens causing acute infectious disease in dogs. It is mainly transmitted through the fecal–oral route and can spread rapidly among susceptible animals. Infected dogs may develop symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dehydration, and hemorrhagic enteritis. Puppies, unvaccinated dogs, and dogs with weakened immunity are particularly susceptible. Due to its strong environmental resistance and high transmissibility, CPV can easily cause outbreaks in kennels, veterinary clinics, and breeding facilities if infected animals are not identified and managed promptly.

The SunshinyMed Canine Parvovirus PCR Detection Kit uses real-time fluorescent PCR technology and is designed with specific primers and fluorescent probes targeting conserved regions of the CPV genome. It can be used for the rapid detection of CPV nucleic acid in samples such as canine feces and rectal swabs. With good specificity and sensitivity, the kit helps support early identification of CPV infection and provides reliable testing evidence for clinical diagnosis, isolation of infected animals, treatment monitoring, and disease prevention and control in dog populations.
