Purified DNA is directly amplified using sequence-specific primers and probes. During amplification, fluorescence signals are generated through probe cleavage, allowing real-time monitoring of amplification. The resulting signals may be used for comparative analysis of target nucleic acids.

Introduction

Canine Parvovirus (CPV) is one of the most common and clinically significant pathogens causing acute infectious disease in dogs. It is mainly transmitted through the fecal–oral route and can spread rapidly among susceptible animals. Infected dogs may develop symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dehydration, and hemorrhagic enteritis. Puppies, unvaccinated dogs, and dogs with weakened immunity are particularly susceptible. Due to its strong environmental resistance and high transmissibility, CPV can easily cause outbreaks in kennels, veterinary clinics, and breeding facilities if infected animals are not identified and managed promptly.
