Chlamydia Felis (CF) Detection Kit
Introduction
Chlamydia felis is an obligate intracellular parasitic bacterium and one of the important pathogens causing conjunctivitis in cats. This pathogen has poor survival ability outside the host, so infection is mainly transmitted through direct contact between animals. After infection, cats usually develop clinical symptoms within a few days. The pathogen can invade and infect conjunctival cells, causing ocular inflammation, tearing, and increased eye discharge. It is commonly seen in kittens under 9 months of age.
The SunshinyMed Chlamydia felis PCR Detection Kit uses real-time fluorescence PCR technology for the in vitro detection of Chlamydia felis nucleic acid in samples such as eyelid secretions, conjunctival secretions, and nasal secretions. The kit is designed with specific primers and TaqMan probes targeting conserved genes of Chlamydia felis, and amplification detection is performed using a real-time PCR instrument. It features high sensitivity, strong specificity, rapid detection, and reliable results.
