Description
SunGoldTM Feline Fecal Occult Blood Rapid Test is suitable for the naked eye to quickly determine whether the dog has digestive tract microbleeding. This product is widely used in pet hospitals, animal clinics and farms. It can be used for early screening of diseases such as gastroenteritis, ulcers, parasitic infections or digestive system bleeding. It is especially suitable for screening cases with no obvious clinical symptoms or normal fecal appearance. The background of the project development stems from the fact that canine gastrointestinal diseases are hidden in the early stages and the symptoms are atypical. Traditional detection methods mostly rely on microscopic examination or fecal testing, which have problems such as cumbersome operation, low sensitivity, and high false detection rate. As a convenient auxiliary diagnostic tool, this kit can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of fecal testing.
How to use?
Check the product contents and make sure the test operation is under the room temperature (15–30℃) before testing.
Place the test device on a clean and level surface.
Unscrew the cap of the specimen collection tube, then randomly stab the specimen collection container into the fecal specimen in at least 3 different sites. Do not scoop the fecal specimen.
Screw on and tighten the cap onto the specimen collection tube, then shake the specimen collection tube vigorously to mix the specimen and the extraction buffer.
Holding the sample collection tube upright, carefully take off the tip of collection tube, abandon the first two drops and transfer 3 drops (approximately 90 μL) to specimen well(S) of the test cassette, then start the timer.Close the cap of the buffer tube.
Interpretation of Results
Positive (+): The presence of both C line and T line, regardless of T line being strong or faint.
Negative (-): Only clear C line appears.
Invalid: No colored line appears in C region, regardless of T line's appearance.
