African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) P30 Antibody ELISA Kit

This kit is an easy‑to‑use ELISA that enables detection of antibodies directed against the p30 protein of African swine fever virus (ASFV) in porcine serum. The assay meets the sensitivity and specificity recommendations of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) to detect ASFV infection and is compatible with automated plate washers.
Description Package Information Inquiry

African swine fever virus (ASFV), a member of the family Asfarviridae, is a double-stranded DNA virus. African swine fever, caused by ASFV, is a highly contagious and lethal disease affecting domestic pigs and wild boars. Its clinical manifestations commonly include high fever, skin and internal organ hemorrhages, and loss of appetite. The virus can spread rapidly within pig populations through direct or indirect contact and may also be transmitted through the bites of infected Ornithodoros moubata soft ticks.

ASFV outbreaks can cause severe economic losses to the swine industry; therefore, timely infection surveillance is essential for disease prevention and control. The SunshinyMed African Swine Fever Virus p30 Antibody ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody sandwich method to detect specific antibodies against the ASFV p30 protein in porcine serum samples. The p30 protein is an important immunogenic protein of ASFV and can serve as a target for serological antibody detection.
