Introduction

Bacillus anthracis (BA) is an aerobic, Gram-positive, spore-forming pathogenic bacterium and the primary causative agent of anthrax. Anthrax is a serious zoonotic infectious disease commonly found in livestock such as cattle and sheep, as well as in wild animals. The pathogen can persist in soil for long periods of time. Infected animals may develop acute disease or even die, while humans may become infected through contact with infected animals or contaminated animal products, posing significant risks to public health and livestock production safety.

The SunshinyMed Bacillus anthracis (BA) PCR Detection Kit is designed for the in vitro qualitative detection of Bacillus anthracis genomic nucleic acids in samples. This product adopts real-time fluorescence PCR technology and uses specific primers and probes to ensure high specificity for Bacillus anthracis while providing broad detection coverage. It can effectively assist in identifying the presence of Bacillus anthracis nucleic acids in animal samples.
